A Christmas spectacular with over 150 performers on stage! Prepare to be enchanted as Vladimir and his musically gifted family, ‘The Jablokovs,’ return to light up the stage at Dublin’s 3Arena. This year’s Christmas spectacular features an extraordinary lineup, including Welsh opera star Katherine Jenkins, tenor Sean Costello, soprano Ava Dodd, a full orchestra, the Kerry Concert Choir with Ceol Aoine, and elegant Viennese ballroom dancers. Together, they will take you on a journey through timeless classics and the spirit of Christmas.
Acclaimed Slovakian violinist Vladimir is celebrated for his electrifying live performances, where he masterfully blends classical music with playfulness, passion, and raw emotion. In his signature style, he adds a festive glow to timeless classical melodies and a joyful flurry of seasonal favorites you all know and love.
Vladimir’s Viennese Christmas began humbly in 2008 with just a few fellow musicians. The following year, he reunited his family ensemble, bringing over his parents and five siblings. Year after year, the production grew in scale and popularity, culminating in its arrival at Dublin’s 3Arena in 2022. Now, it’s one of the most in-demand Christmas events in the city, continuing the cherished tradition of the Jablokov family.

This magical evening, combining Vladimir’s violin mastery, his incredibly talented family, the stunning vocals of Katherine Jenkins, Sean Costello, and Ava Dodd, the grandeur of a full orchestra, the enthusiasm of the choir, and the grace of Viennese ballroom dancers, promises to be an unforgettable experience.

The perfect start to your Christmas celebrations!

4 Seasons Explained
With 45 piece orchestra
Conductor – Viktor Jablokov
Soloists:
Vladimir Jablokov – Violin
Anton Jablokov – Violin

Fresh from a hugely successful sold-out 3Arena Christmas Concert, Sensational violinist Vladimir Jablokov brings a brand new Symphonic version of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons to Bord Gais Energy Theatre on 22nd April 2023 @ 3.00pm.

The Sunday Business Post recently described him as: “Vladimir Jablokov is now one of the most successful and individualist musicians in the business”.
Vladimir’s hand-picked 45-piece orchestra will be performing on stage accompanied by visuals on the screen.

FOUR SEASONS EXPLAINED: with this unique arrangement, not only will we get to hear the most amazing music but we will also get a visual translation of the 300 year old sonnets that inspired the pieces.

Nature waking up in Spring, birds singing, destructive Summer Storm, drunken shepherds in Autumn after making the wine, the person sitting in front of the warm fireplace in the house, while he hears the raindrops outside his window in Winter. It’s not easy to read old sonnets written in a poetic language and put it with music as it is being played. But if you see a sleeping Goatherd and barking Dog at the exact moment one of the instruments is miming the sound of the bark, it will make sense right away and really adds to the enjoyment of the pieces.

Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi is the most popular classical composition of all time. Hundreds of performers took the challenge of performing it throughout the centuries and dozens of recordings were released. The unique part of this work is the story behind the music. Well ahead of his time Vivaldi released the Four Seasons with the accompanying sonnets to explain the different moments.

Now Vladimir explains the story with abstract moving images on screen throughout the work based on original notes published over 300 years ago.

The concert will be conducted by Vladimir’s youngest brother Viktor Jablokov who also arranged and orchestrated this work.

The latter half of the concert will feature Vladimir with his brother Anton Jablokov performing popular classics including, Hava Nagila, Bella Ciao, a theme from The Godfather, Those Were The Days and Bohemian Rhapsody.

Vladimir headlined sold-out performances in the National Concert Hall, INEC, University Concert Hall, Cork Opera House, National Opera House and more. And in December 2022 he headlined a sold-out show at Dublin’s 3Arena.
